General Information
Marvelette Blue Calamint is a delightful plant, with many nice features. This is a compact growing plant, great for borders, beds or in a large container. The plant grows in a upright manner. The leaves are small, and are medium green in color. The foliage has a very nice minty fragrance. The flowers are a lavender-blue color, growing in abundance on the stems. They tend to be in bloom from summer into the fall. They are quite attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds.

Calamintha nepeta ‘Marvelette Blue’ grows to a height of 10 to 12 inches, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 9. It grows best in full sunlight. Marvelette Blue tends to do well in in well drained soils, with average amounts of moisture. It can benefit from a good trim in July.
