Mariposa Autumn Iris is a perennial plant. It is a taller perennial plant, reaching to 32 inches in height. This iris will grow as a nice clump of foliage, with flowers held above. Mariposa Autumn Iris will look great in a variety of landscaping areas. The foliage is longer and sword shaped, deep green in color. It will keep a nice appearance through the season. The flowers are nice and large in size, blooming in the late spring and early summer. The flower petals are ruffled, white in color, violet toward the edges. Great for cut flower arrangements!

Iris germanica ‘Mariposa Autumn’ will be 30 to 32 inches tall, with a spread of 12 to 18 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. Mariposa Autumn Iris will grow well in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
