General Information

Manhattan Euonymus is a shrub that would look great in different areas of your landscape.  This shrub was originally discovered in Manhattan Kansas, making a plant that can withstand cold, breezy winters and hot, muggy summers. It can be used in a variety of ways, as a hedge, border, naturalized area or even as a specimen of some form.  It typically grows in an upright, rounded, multi-stemmed form. The leaves are 2 to 3 inches long and are oval to elliptical in shape.  The leaves are glossy with a great dark green color.  This foliage grows on this shrub all the way to the ground, giving it a good, full overall appearance.  The flowers on the plant are inconspicuous, but bear fruit that matures to a great pink color in the fall.

Additional Information
