General Information

Love Child Sweetspire is a deciduous shrub. It is of moderate size, reaching 4 feet in height and width. This shrub will grow in an overall rounded form, with a good deal of ornamental appeal. This Sweetspire will be perfect for a variety of landscaping areas. The foliage is a very nice bright green color through the growing seasons. It will take on very attractive burgundy tones in the fall. Love Child Sweetspire will produce bottlebrush style flowers from late spring into the summer. The small, yet abundant flowers are bright white in color.

Additional Information

Itea virginica ‘Bailteaone’ will be 3 to 4 feet tall, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Love Child Sweetspire can grow well in full to partial sunlight. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
