General Information
Common White Lilac is a deciduous shrub. It is a large, upright, classic lilac shrub. The lilac will be a great choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The leaves will be an attractive blue-green in color. It will keep a nice appearance through the growing season. The Common White Lilac will have large, abundant clusters of flowers in the mid-springtime. The flowers are pure white in color, with a wonderful fragrance. They are a great choice for cut flower arrangements!

Syringa vulgaris var. alba will be 12 to 15 feet tall, with a width of 8 to 12 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 2 to 7. Common White Lilac will tend to do best when planted in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
