General Information
Lakeside Paisley Print Hosta is a great plant that could fit well in variety of areas in your landscape. It is a short, slightly spreading hosta, with its size giving it the ability to be placed in many spaces. This hosta does well in areas without much sunlight, making it perfect for many areas where other plants would not survive. Although hostas are mainly known for their foliage, they have flowers that add a nice point of interest. These lavender colored flowers appear midsummer atop tall stems above the foliage. The leaves are broadly oval to heart shaped, and are ridged with a wavy appearance. The leaves have deep green outer margins, with an ivory color at the center of the leaf, spreading outward toward the edges of the leaf.

Hosta ‘Lakeside Paisley Print’ grows to a height of 8 to 10 inches, with a spread of 16 to 20 inches. The flowers reach a height of two feet. It is recommended for climate zones 3 to 9. It grows best in full to partial shade. Lakeside Paisley Print grows best in rich, well drained soils with moderate amounts of moisture. This plant will go dormant in the fall, and can be trimmed back at any time before new growth appears in the spring.
