General Information
Italian Pesto Basil is a great plant for your garden. I will also work quite well in a container. These heirloom seeds are an exclusive offering from Renee’s Garden seed company. The seeds will provide an abundance of great tasting and quite ornamental basil leaves. They will have a very attractive glossy appearance and are dark green in color. It will have a delightful, zesty flavor. Great for making pesto sauce, in salad dressings or to enhance a variety of other sauces.
Additional Information
The seeds can be started early indoors or directly in the garden. Basil is quite sensitive to cooler temperatures, so it needs to stay above 55 degrees at night before planting outdoors. Plant or thin seedlings 8 inches apart to allow for full grow potential.
