Humpback Whale Hosta is a perennial plant. It is an extraordinary plant, reaching 3 feet tall and 7 wide. This hosta has broad leaves, with a full, spreading, mounded form. The overall size of the Humpback Whale Hosta will provide a great deal of coverage and color to a shady area of your landscape. The leaves are heart shaped and highly ridged. They are a very attractive blue-green in color. White, bell shaped flowers bloom on stems above the foliage. They will typically appear in the early summertime.

Hosta ‘Humpback Whale’ will be 30 to 36 inches tall, with a spread of 6 to 7 feet. Flower stems up to 4 feet tall. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. Humpback Whale Hosta will do well in full to part shade conditions. It will grow well with consistent moisture in well drained soils.
