Hesse Cotoneaster

General Information

Hesse Cotoneaster is an ornamental deciduous shrub.  It is a lower growing, spread shrub.  It is a great plant for a variety of landscaping areas.  The are smaller in size, but grow abundantly to give the plant a nice full look.  The leaves are glossy and dark green in color throughout the growing season.  In the fall they are a very nice purplish-red in color.  Small pinkish-red flowers bloom in the springtime.  Berries follow the flowers, maturing to bright red in the late summer time.  These berries are attractive to birds.
