Hardy Pampas Grass
Purplish-bronze plumes bloom on the Hardy Pampas grass from mid summer through fall. The plumes turn silvery-gray in the fall. Narrow, green leaf blades have thin white stripe down the center. This is more hardy than traditional pampas grass. This attractive grass makes a wonderful accent plant for any landscape. The clump forming foliage forms a wonderful screen or property border. Can be used around the periphery of a patio. Use the attractive plumes in cut flower bouquets.
Erianthus ravennae grows best in Full Sun. It will grow 8 to 10 feet tall with a spread of 5 to 8 feet. Plant in zones 4 to 9. Deer resistant. Tolerates black walnuts.
