Description

Gro-Low Fragrant Sumac

General Information

Gro-Low Fragrant Sumac forms a low-growing shrub that makes an excellent groundcover. In spring, fragrant, small yellow flowers emerge on the stem tips.  Velvety red fruit follows the flowers and will persist into winter. Leaves are fragrant when crushed. Scarlet to orange fall foliage is stunning!  The Gro-Low Sumac spreads by suckers and is excellent for planting in areas where it can naturalize. Plant on hillsides and slopes to prevent erosion. Grows well in poor soil.
