Grape Taffy False Indigo is a perennial plant. This plant will have a compact growth habit, with great ornamental appeal. It would be a very nice choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The foliage will be medium green in color. It will provide the plant a nice appearance through the growing seasons. The flowers will bloom in great abundance in the late spring to early summertime. They will be a beautiful reddish-purple in color, with a yellow accent. The flowers of the Grape Taffy False Indigo will be great for attracting pollinators!

Baptisia ‘Grape Taffy’ will be 24 to 30 inches tall, with a width of 30 to 36 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 9. Grape Taffy False Indigo will grow well in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well draining soils. Once established, it should have good drought tolerance.
