Description

Goldfinch Columbine

General Information

Goldfinch Columbine is a great perennial plant.  Perfect for shady borders or beds.  Forms as an overall rounded clump of foliage, with flowers held above.  Very nice grey-green foliage gives the plant a nice appearance through the growing season.  The flowers are quite nice, looking up a bit more , instead of downward like many columbine.  Clusters of large 3 inch flowers bloom beginning late springtime.  They have a nice light yellow color.  Great for attracting butterflies, hummingbirds and bees!

Additional Information

Aquilegia ‘Goldfinch’ grows to a height of 20 to 28 inches, with a spread of 18 to 24 inches.  It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9.  Goldfinch grow best in partial sunlight.  Grows well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils. Keep in mind that shipping size and height are an average of our plants and can vary by season.
