General Information
The Ginko Craig Hosta features narrow, elliptical leaves. The dark green leaves have narrow, white margins. Scapes of purple flowers bloom above the foliage in late summer. The beautiful foliage of this hosta makes an excellent accent plant for your garden or landscape. Use as a filler around other plants in your perennial garden. Great way to cover the foliage of dying spring bulbs. The Ginko Craig works well in containers or as a mass planting for borders and edging. Great for woodland gardens, or around the base of large trees. The flowers attract hummingbirds
Additional Information
Hosta ‘Ginko Craig’ grows best in Full to Part Shade. It will grow 8-10″ tall with a spread of 20-24″. Plant in zones 3 to 9. Attracts hummingbirds. Great low maintenance plant. Tolerates black walnuts.
Care & Shipping Notes
Plant in average to moist, well drained soil. Prefers rich soil but will tolerate a variety of soil types including clay and sandy. No serious insect or disease problems. Leaf spots and crown rot may be problems. Slugs can cause damage to hostas. Treat with slug bait in early spring. Mulch to prevent winter heaving and to retain moisture in summer heat.
