Gentle Shepherd Daylily is a perennial plant. It is a taller plant, reaching up to 30 inches tall. This plant is formed as a nice mound of foliage, with flowers held on scapes above. Gentle Shepherd Daylily is a great choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The leaves are long and narrow , arching outwards. They deep green in color, keeping a nice appearance in the spring and summer months. The flowers are large in size, typically appearing in the late spring into the summer. They will be creamy to white in color, with a yellowish throat. Great for attracting butterflies!

Hemerocallis ‘Gentle Shepherd’ will be 24 to 30 inches tall, with a spread of 2 to 3 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. Gentle Shepherd Daylily can grow well in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will grow well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
