General Information
Flamenco Flame Flower is a perennial plant. They can grow to be larger in size, reaching 36 inches tall. They are typically upright in form, with flowers held above the foliage. The are a great choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The leaves are narrow and arching. They are an attractive deep green in color. The flower spikes sit atop strong stems. The individual flowers are tubular in shape, growing in the larger clusters. The petals have colors of yellow, orange and red. Flamenco Flame Flower blooms over a long period in the summer.

Kniphofia uvaria ‘Flamenco’ will be 24 to 36 inches tall, with a spread of 18 to 24 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Flamenco Flame Flower tends to grow and flower best in full sunlight. It will do well with average or lesser amounts of moisture in well drained soils. Once established, it is said to have good drought tolerance.
