General Information
Fine Line Improved Buckthorn is a deciduous shrub. It is a taller shrub, reaching up to 7 feet tall. This buckthorn will typically grow in a dense, bushy and upright fashion. This Fine Line has the improved feature of having foliage all the way to the ground. It retains all the good qualities of the regular Fine Line, with that added benefit. The leaves are long and narrow, growing quite densely. They are dark green in color. This buckthorn, with an upright and narrow form, is a great choice as an accent shrub with a variety of landscaping uses.
Additional Information
Rhamnus frangula ‘SMNRFBT’ reaches 5 to 7 feet tall, with a spread of 2 to 3 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 2 to 7. Fine Line Improved Buckthorn can grow well in full to partial sunlight conditions. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
