Fairview Yew

General Information

Fairview Yew is an evergreen shrub.  It can grow to be larger in size, at 4 feet tall and 6 feet wide.  Fairview grows in an upright and dense overall fashion.  It is great as a hedge or in a variety of other landscaping areas.  This yew take a shearing quite well, and can be trimmed up, or left to freely grow.  The evergreen needles are softer in nature.  In the spring, new growth will emerge lighter green, before maturing to the typical dark green.  It does have red fruits, or seedpods, in the fall on occasion.  This is a nice, relatively low maintenance shrub.
