General Information
Early Sunrise Coreopsis is an ornamental perennial plant. It typically grows as a dense mound of foliage with flowers held above on stems. The size and appeal of this perennial make it ideal for a variety of landscaping areas. The leaves are medium green in color, keeping a nice appearance during the growing seasons. It provides a nice backdrop for the flowers. The flowers begin to bloom by late spring, continuing through the summer. The flowers are semi-double and daisy like in appearance. They are a very attractive bright yellow. Spent flowers should be removed to encourage rebloom.

Coreopsis grandiflora ‘Early Sunrise’ grows 18 to 24 inches tall, with a spread of 15 to 18 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 9. Early Sunrise tends to do best when planted in full sunlight. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
