General Information

Dwarf Japanese Garden Juniper is a great shrub that would look great in many different areas of your landscape.  This is a very low growing groundcover type of Juniper.  It grows with a multi-stemmed, spreading fashion providing great groundcover in many different areas.  It can be used in borders and beds of all types and is great as an accent plant in any situation.  The Dwarf Japanese Garden Juniper is great for erosion prone areas, rocky areas or anywhere that may have watering restrictions.  The foliage for this plant is evergreen, with very short needles on small stems extending from the main branches.  New growth on the plant is a bright green, maturing into a dark greenish-blue color.  In the cold months, the foliage can take on a purple tint.
