Also known as Rose Tree of China or flowering almond, the Double Flowering Plum is extremely winter hardy up to -40°. The gorgeous spring display makes the Double Flowering Plum irresistible. Muted yellow fall color. This form has been trained as a shrub. Beautiful centerpiece for your lawn or landscape.

Prunus triloba grows best in Full Sun. It will grow 10-12′ tall with a similar spread. Plant in zones 2 to 7. Can be transplanted easily. Flowers attract butterflies. Very hardy flowering shrub. Drought tolerant. Rabbit resistant.

Plant in average to moderately wet, well drained soil. Prefers rich, acidic soil. Aphids, borers and scale may be pests. Leaf spot and blight may cause damage. Late frost may damage spring buds.
