Colorado Blue Spruce

General Information

Colorado Blue Spruce is a well known evergreen for the landscape.  Its foliage can be light green to silvery blue.  It grows with a sturdy, pyramidal form. It is native to the Rocky Mountain states.  Excellent living Christmas tree for your landscape!

Additional Information

Picea pungens grows best in Full Sun. It will grow 40-60′ tall with a spread of 10-20′. Plant in zones 3 to 8. Provides shelter for a variety of wildlife & birds.

Care & Shipping Notes

Plant in average, well drained soil for best results. Will tolerate a variety of soil types, but not extremely wet or dry sites. Protect from strong, hot winds. No serious insect or disease problems. Spider mites and pine needle weevils may be pests. Needlecast and mistle toe may cause damage to the  health of the tree. NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE IN THESE US STATES AND TERRITORIES: AK, HI, GM, PR, VI. Also, WE NO LONGER SHIP TO CALIFORNIA due to Department of Ag restrictions on live plants.
