Color Guard Yucca

General Information

Color Guard Yucca is a great plant that will look great in different areas your landscape.  It forms as an upright clump of foliage, with a beautiful flower display.  The leaves are sword shaped, with long curly white filaments(or threads) forming along the edges of the leaves.  These leaves are green along the margins, and yellow-gold in color down the center of the leaf.  In the late springtime a stalk rises above the foliage, up to 3 to 4 feet tall, carrying an abundance of flowers.  Several stems grow off the main stalk, with a good deal of bell shaped creamy white flowers.  These flowers are quite attractive to butterflies.
