General Information
Coconut Surprise Dianthus is a perennial plant. It is smaller in size, reaching 10 inches tall. This plant has a full, bushy and compact overall growth habit. It would be a great choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The leaves are blue-green in color, keeping a nice appearance. The foliage will be evergreen in warmer climates, perennial in cooler areas. The flowers are bright white in color, with a red center area. The highly fragrant flowers bloom beginning late spring. If sheared after the initial blooms have faded, rebloom may occur late summer.

Dianthus ‘WP05 Yves’ will be 8 to 10 inches tall, with a spread of 10 to 12 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Coconut Surprise Dianthus tends to do best in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
