Caroline Raspberry

General Information

Caroline Raspberry is a deciduous fruit plant. It is an everbearing variety of Raspberry, with a July crop and another in September. Depending on your area, the season can continue for 6 to 8 weeks. The canes can grow up to 6 feet tall, bearing delightful fruit. The large red raspberries are said to be some of the best tasting raspberries available! They are great for fresh eating, making jams or jellies, freezing or for a variety of other culinary uses. The Caroline Raspberry is self-pollinating, but may produce more with a pollinating partner. It will begin to bear by the second season.

Additional Information

Rubus idaeus ‘Caroline’ will be 4 to 6 feet tall, with a spread of 3 to 4 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 9. Caroline Raspberry can grow in full to partial sunlight conditions. It is will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
