General Information
Carl Sedum features clusters of magenta pink flowers on a compact plant. These bright flowers add great color in late summer to fall. Stems are reddish with green foliage. Red seed heads follow the flowers. The colorful seed heads provide good winter interest. Great plant for an edging or border. Plant in mass for best effect.
Additional Information
Sedum ‘Carl’ grows best in Full Sun. It will grow 16-18″ tall with a spread of 18-24″. Plant in zones 3 to 9. Salt tolerant. Attracts butterflies. Rabbit resistant. Birds are attracted to the dried seed heads. Good drought and heat resistance once established.
Care & Shipping
Easy to grow in dry to average, well drained soil. Will tolerate a variety of soil types, including clay and shallow, rocky soil. No serious insect or disease problems. Do NOT fertilize. NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE IN THESE US STATES AND TERRITORIES: AK, HI, GM, PR, VI. Also, WE NO LONGER SHIP TO CALIFORNIA due to Department of Ag restrictions on live plants.
