Cake Pops Purple Verbena is an annual plant. It will have a rounded form, with flowers held above the foliage. This verbena will be a great choice for landscaping beds, or in containers and hanging baskets. The foliage is narrow in shape and dark green in color. It will give the plant a nice appearance through the growing seasons. The flowers bloom abundantly in rounded clusters from spring planting until frost. The flowers will be a very nice lavender-purple in color. The Cake Pops Purple Verbena will be great for attracting bees, butterflies and hummingbirds!

Verbena rigida ‘Cake Pops Purple’ will be 10 to 18 inches tall, with a similar width. It is grown in most areas as an annual, but can be grown as a perennial in USDA climate zones 7 to 10. Cake Pops Purple Verbena will do best in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well draining soils. Once established, this plant will have good heat and drought tolerance.
