Bronze Beauty Bugleweed is a perennial plant. This a low growing, spreading groundcover plant. The foliage will grow quite densely, and have a glossy appearance. It is dark green in color with bronze accents. Bronze Beauty Bugleweed will have violet-blue flower spikes, blooming from spring into early summer. This would be a great choice for a variety of partial to full shade areas.

Ajuga reptans ‘Bronze Beauty’ will be 2 to 5 inches tall, with a width of 12 to 15 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 10. Bronze Beauty Bugleweed will tend to do best in partial sun conditions. It will do well in well drained to average soils with average to moderate amounts of moisture.
