Brandywine Viburnum
General Information
Brandywine Viburnum is a deciduous shrub. It is a moderate sized shrub, growing up to 6 feet tall. It tends to grow in an overall upright and rounded overall fashion. Brandywine has a good deal of ornamental appeal, perfect for a variety of landscaping areas. The leaves have a nice medium green color through the spring and summer. They are a very attractive burgundy-red color in the fall. Abundant, large clusters of white flowers in the springtime. Berries follow the flowers. They are very attractive, having dark pink and bluish-black berries in the same cluster. These berries are attractive to birds.
Additional Information
Viburnum nudum ‘Bulk’ grows to a height of 5 to 6 feet, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Brandywine can grow in full to partial sunlight conditions. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
