Blue Muffin Viburnum
The Blue Muffin is a compact Arrowwood Viburnum variety with rounded form. It has glossy leaves and loads of white spring blooms. Intense blue fruit appears later in the summer and are very attractive to birds. Burgundy purple fall foliage. A pollinator is required for berry production. Chicago Lustre is a good choice for pollinator. Makes a great low hedge or border. Great as a specimen shrub. Use in foundation plantings.
Viburnum dentatum ‘Christom’ grows best in Full Sun to Full Shade. It will grow 5-7′ tall with a spread of 4-6′. Plant in zones 3 to 9. Deer resistant. Attracts birds and butterflies. Some drought tolerance once established. Will tolerate Black Walnut.

Plant in average, well drained soil. Prefers moist soil. Will tolerate most soil types. Prune immediately after spring blooming so that the next years blooms are not affected.
