Blue Jay Columbine

General Information

Blue Jay Columbine is a perennial plant. It is moderate in size, reaching up to 28 inches tall. The plant typically has a rounded overall form, with flowers held above the foliage. It is a nice choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The leaves are quite attractive, with a nice deep green color. The flowers of the Blue Jay Columbine face upwards, not nodding down like other Columbines. The outer petals are violet-blue in color, white petals in the center. They typically bloom from late spring to early summer. Great for attracting hummingbirds!
