General Information

Blue Chip Jr. Butterfly Bush is a delightful plant for your landscape!  It is a compact sized plant, growing towards 2 feet tall and wide.  Grows in an overall mounded habit, with flowers above the foliage.  The leaves are a very nice grey green in color, providing a nice appearance all through the growing season.  Large bottlebrush shaped flower clusters bloom from early summer to early fall.  They are a very nice bluish-purple in color.  The flowers are very attractive to butterflies, hummingbirds and bees. 

Additional Information

Buddleia x ‘Blue Chip Jr.’ grows to a height of 1 to 2 feet, with a similar spread.  It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9.  It tends to grow best in full sunlight.  Blue Chip Jr does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.  Prune in the spring after it leafs outs.
