General Information
Black Cherry Heirloom Tomatoes are a great addition to your garden. These heirloom, organic seeds are from Renee’s Garden seed company. These seeds will provide plants with vigorous growth and great harvest of tomatoes. The tomato plants are of the indeterminate variety, typically reaching upwards of 5 to 7 feet in height. They will do best if staked, caged or provided some form of support. The Black Cherry tomatoes grow abundantly in clusters. The round, 1 inch fruits are an attractive reddish-purple in color. They have a sweet flavor, perfect for fresh eating, in salads or a variety of other uses. Each seed packet will contain approximately 40 seeds.
Additional Information
The seeds are typically best started indoors, about 6 to 8 weeks before last frost date. Tomatoes do appreciate warmer weather, so try to wait until weather warms to plant outdoors. Plant the seedlings 3 feet apart to allow for full growth potential. First harvest will typically occur about 70 days from transplant.
