Beatlemania Sedge
General Information
Beatlemania Sedge is a perennial ornamental grass. It is shorter, reaching 8 inches tall. It typically has a dense growing and a nice, arching habit. This would be an ideal accent plant in a variety of landscaping areas. The leaves are quite narrow and arching outwards. The grass has the ‘mop-top’ appearance of the early Beatles style. The leaves are variegated in color, light green centers and cream colored margins.
Additional Information
Carex caryophyllea ‘Beatlemania’ will be 4 to 6 inches tall, with a spread of 8 to 10 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Beatlemania Sedge will do well in partial shade conditions. It will grow well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
