Autumn Joy Sedum
General Information
Autumn Joy Sedum is a perennial plant, moderate in size, two feet tall and wide. This plant will form as a nice clump of foliage, with large clusters of flowers held above. It is a ideal plant for a variety of landscaping areas. The succulent leaves grow densely on thick stems. They are an attractive green. The flower clusters are quite large. The flowers will emerge light pink, before maturing to rosy-pink. These flowers will bloom beginning late summer, continuing until mid-fall. Great for late season color in the landscape!
Additional Information
Sedum spectabile ‘Autumn Joy’ reaches a height of 18 to 24 inches, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. Autumn Joy can grow well in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils. Once established, it has exhibited good drought tolerance.
