General Information
Ash Leaf Spirea, also known as False Spirea, has deep green foliage similar to that of sumac and ferns. In June, small white flowers appear in clumps. This deciduous shrub grows at a rapid rate. For new growth, ash spirea can be cut back. This plant requires low maintenance if allowed to grow untamed. Use Ash Leaf Spirea for wind brakes and shrub boarders. It is also a salt-tolerant shrub.
Additional Information
Sorbaria sorbifolia grows best in Full Sun. It will grow 6-8′ tall with a spread of 5-10′. Plant in zones 2-7.

Grows well in moist, well drained organic soil. No serious insect or disease problems. Does best in heavy clay soils, tends to spread rapidly in loose soils.
