General Information
The blooms of the Arizona Sun Blanket Flower resemble orange red pinwheels with tips dipped in golden yellow. The end of the petals have a torn, ruffled look. This compact plant with gray green leaves is covered with a blanket of flowers throughout the Summer. Wonderful for borders or containers. Add to your cut flower arrangements. 2005 Fleuroselect Gold Medal winner.
Additional Information
Gaillardia aristata ‘Arizona Sun’ grows best in Full Sun. It will grow 8-10″ tall with a similar spread. Plant in zones 4 to 9. Attracts butterflies. Deer resistant. Blanket flowers received their name due to the similar colors used by native Indians in making their blankets.

Plant in average, well drained soil for best results. Arizona Sun will tolerate poor soil. This is a low growing, low maintenance plant. Remove spent flowers to encourage re-blooming.
