General Information

Arctic Fire Yellow Dogwood is an ornamental deciduous shrub. It is moderate in size, reaching to 5 feet tall. It has great ornamental appeal, making it perfect for a variety of landscaping areas. The foliage is quite nice, dark green in color, keeping a good appearance through the growing season. In the late springtime, clusters of white flowers grow in abundance. Berries will follow, maturing to white. Birds are big fans of these fruits! After a good frost, the branches will turn a very attractive yellow in color. These will be great for fall and winter landscape or decorating interest!

Additional Information

Cornus stolonifera ‘SMNCSBD’ reaches 4 to 5 feet in height, with a spread of 5 to 6 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 2 to 7. Arctic Fire Yellow Dogwood can do well in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
