General Information
Amethyst Falls Wisteria is deciduous plant. This is a slower growing vining wisteria, growing to 10 feet, eventually it may reach up to 30 feet. It typically grows best on arbors, trellis or some sort of support system. It has attractive bright foliage that keeps a nice appearance through the growing season. Large, drooping fragrant lavender-purple flower clusters. These flowers appear beginning in the late spring, with occasional rebloom in the summer.

Wisteria frutescens ‘Amethyst Falls’ will grow in upwards of 8 to 10 feet, potentially up to 30 feet after many years. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Amethyst Falls Wisteria can grow in full to partial sunlight. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
