Just as described, awesome packaging and instructions to boot.Mary In FL
I just received my shrubs and they are great looking plants. Thanks for the extra care that was taken in packaging them up. They are very large plants. My expectations were exceeded for sure. You can count on me being a return customer. (Copper Ridge Viburnum)Stacey from MI
“Love my new plant – very healthy!” (Dianthus Firewitch)Dawn In TX
This tree is the center piece in a memorial for a little princess that almost made it, but was too precious to be a part of this world. It was extremely important I got a healthy plant with a guarantee and Grimm’s delivered that piece of mind and satisfaction to me. Someone took extra care and put love into growing this lilac. It it about 2.5 feet tall, thick and as bushy as a little plant can be. Would buy over and over.Rhonda from VT

I’m very happy with my Allegheny. It’s a vibrant strong plant with flower buds already to pop open. I planted it in the ground, then it snowed. Can’t wait to see it bloom!Paul in NY

Perennials are plants that consistently return from the same roots year after year, for several years. If care for properly, they may last 30 years in a landscape situation, depending on the species. Native perennials are some of the most collected plants in North America, for the rich biodiversity found in Great Plains region. Perennial natives can live for years in the wild, and less so in landscapes. They can withstand heavy feeding and grazing by insects and mammals, and can return with gusto from pruning and fire.
Some native perennials are short-lived, but produce thousands of seeds, often coming up near the original plants, making it appear as if the one plant is long lived. An example of this Purple Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea); it produces multiple flowers and many seeds, that germinate quickly and start new plants easily. Because of some native’s willingness to reproduce through seeds, gardeners can plant a few and get many in just a few years, and have some left over to give away to fellow gardeners and family.
Native perennials are adaptable to many sites and soil conditions, are often drought and flood tolerant, and are both host plants and attractants for pollinators and butterflies. They can be used in massings, beds and borders, as specimen plants, mixed with herbs and annuals, and planted along roadsides and in ditches. Many of them also work well in rain gardens.
