Bagworms

Bagworms are usually found on evergreen trees but will feed on just about anything (We noticed some on a sycamore tree).  If you look closely, you may see the small bags on your trees.  They may not look very intimidating but they love to eat and can cause a lot of damage if in dense populations.  These insects can be controlled now while they are small and actively feeding; however, if you wait another couple weeks, they will be much harder to kill. Please call us if you have any questions about how to control this pest.  We sell pesticides that the homeowner can apply and we also offer spraying services for those who would rather have us spray.  Be sure to read the label before applying any pesticides.
