General Information

Red Nova Raspberry produces firm medium sized berries with excellent flavor!  Red Nova raspberry is hardy in the winter and is known for performing well in temperature changes.  These berries work well for eating fresh or preserves.  Use the bright red berries for cooking and baking. It is an early summer bearing variety of raspberries.

Additional Information

Rubus idaeus ‘Nova’ prefers full sun with moist, well-drained soil.  The mature height is 4-5′ with a similar spread.  Plant in zones 4 to 8.  Attracts birds.

Care & Shipping Notes

Plant in average, well drained soil. Prune back the canes that have flowered and fruited.  Do NOT cut back any canes that have not flowered or fruited.  Good disease resistance.  NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE IN THESE US STATES AND TERRITORIES: AK, HI, GM, PR, VI. Also, WE NO LONGER SHIP TO CALIFORNIA due to Department of Ag restrictions on live plants.

    We had some raspberries come off our plant this year, too, and I was very exeticd. I didn’t take any pictures of them, though although the thought did cross my mind.
