Obsidian Coral Bells

General Information

Obsidian Coral Bells is a fancy leafed coral bell that forms a mound of shiny, jet black leaves.  Creamy white flowers rise above the foliage in late to mid summer. This Obsidian Coral Bell is often grown for its unique dark foliage. Excellent for rock gardens & woodland gardens. Use as a specimen or accent plant.  Plant in mass for a striking border. Can be used in containers.

Additional Information

Heuchera ‘Obsidian’ grows best in Full Sun to Part Shade. It will grow 8-10″ tall with a spread of 12-16″. Plant in zones 4 to 9. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer & rabbit resistant.

Care & Shipping Notes

Plant in average, well drained soil. Will tolerate a variety of soil types including sand and clay. Remove dead or damaged foliage in early spring. No serious insect or disease problems. Good powdery mildew resistance. May be susceptible to frost heaving of the roots in extremely cold or fluctuating weather. NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE IN THESE US STATES AND TERRITORIES: AK, HI, GM, PR, VI. Also, WE NO LONGER SHIP TO CALIFORNIA due to Department of Ag restrictions on live plants.
