Kieffer Pear

General Information

The Kieffer Pear produces large pears with greenish yellow skin. The flesh is white and has a crisp, juicy texture.   Pears should not be allowed to ripen on the tree. They will ripen more easily in storage. The fruits ripen early to mid fall. Kieffer Pear is self-fertile, but will  yield better crops with two trees. Spring flowers are pink to white.
