Himrod Seedless Grapes

General Information

Himrod Seedless Grape is a highly productive, seedless grape.  Its beautiful clusters of golden yellow grapes are wonderful for fresh eating or dried raisins.  Enjoy the crispy, sweet, flavorful taste of Himrod Seedless Grape.   Produces large clusters of medium sized grapes. Himrod came from a cross between wild American native, V. labrusca and European grape,  Vitis vinifera. Good year round interest. Ripens early season.

Additional Information

Vitis labrusca ‘Himrod’ grows best in Full Sun.  It will grow 20-25′ tall with a similar spread.  Plant in zones 5 to 7.  Attracts bees and birds.

Care & Shipping Notes

Can be grown in a variety of soils, as long as there is good drainage.  Grow along a trellis, fence or other support. Mulch to maintain good moisture. Prune in winter. Grapes require regular care with pruning and chemical spraying. Fertilize regularly. In humid climates they are particularly susceptible to anthracnose, black rot, downy and powdery mildew, crown gall and botrytis bunch rot. Phylloxera, grape berry moth, Japanese beetle, leaf hopper, leaf roller, mealy bugs and flea beetles are possible pests.  NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE IN THESE US STATES AND TERRITORIES: AK, HI, GM, PR, VI.
