Golden Vicary Privet
General Information
The fast growing Golden Vicary Privet features long, slender leaves and compact form. It is multi-stemmed with vase shaped habit. Waxy, new leaves emerge bright yellow. If the shrub is planted in full sunlight, it will retain its bright, yellow-green foliage throughout the summer. Showy blossoms appear in early summer. The tiny, white blossoms are fragrant. Small, dark, berry like fruits follow the flowers and often persist in to fall. Can be used for sculpting, however the foliage coloring may be impaired. The Golden Vicary Privet makes a wonderful hedge or border. Add to your landscape for a wonderful contrast or specimen plant.
Additional Information
Ligustrum x vicaryi grows best in Full to Part Sun. It will grow 5-6′ tall with a similar spread. Plant in zones 5 to 8. Attracts birds and butterflies. Drought tolerant.

Easy to grow in average, well drained soil. Will tolerate a wide variety of soil types. No serious insect or disease problems. Water regularly, especially in extreme heat.
