Crème Brulee Coreopsis

General Information

Crème Brulee Coreopsis is a great plant that would fit well in different areas of your landscape.  This plant works well in flower beds, in border, along pathways or in a naturalized area.  This plant grows as a dense, bushy, spreading clump of foliage.  This foliage grows densely, with very narrow, lacy leaves.  It is dark green in color, providing a great accent for the flowers.  The flowers bloom in great abundance from June into October.  They are very small, just 1 inch across, with 8 petals.  The flowers are bright yellow, with an orangish-yellow center disk.

Additional Information

Coreopsis ‘Creme Brulee’ grows to a height of 12 to 18 inches, with a spread of 24 to 36 inches.  It is recommended for climate zones 5 to 9.  It likes to grow in full sunlight.  Crème Brulee grows best in well drained soils, with average amounts of moisture.  The plant can be sheared after the first flowering to encourage a rebloom towards the fall.  The plant can be divided in the spring every 2 or 3 years.
