General Information
Blue Heaven Butterfly Bush is a lovely bush that is perfect for many different landscape uses. As its name would suggest, butterflies love this plant. They are very attracted to the flowers and the flowers are heavy nectar producers providing a great food source. The foliage for the plant is green with subtle silvery undertones. The flowers are small but grow in profusion on the stems in dark blue to purple colors. These flowers create quite the display from early summer all the way to the first frost in autumn.

Buddleia ‘Podaras #8’ grows to a height of 2 to 3 feet with a similar spread. This plant is recommended for climate zones 5 to 9. Blue heaven likes to grow in full sun with average, but consistent moisture in well drained soil. The extended blooming time for this flower creates a wonderful display in your landscape. This is also perfect for cut flower arrangements.
